Bright and Fun Girl's Room

When Ashley wanted to get rid of her pastel "little" girl's room..I decided to go Bright and Fun!  I ordered the bedding, painted her cream furniture hot pink, added some funky lamps and voila!  A bedroom so happy you can't help but smile when you walk in!  (notice the Menchies frozen yogurt doll on the bed...we will be going there today)...Angela...care to join us??

It's so easy to forget about the things we have because we are too busy thinking about the things we want.  I just realized I have everything I want...a great family, great friends and a great life.  I am so thankful.  After watching this video, I promise you will do the same.

All 3 Kids in School!!!

Ok....Today was Riley's first day of school-school...not the kind of school where you drop him off at 9, but by the time you stop talking to everyone in the hallway you don't leave til 9:45. Only to come back in 2 hours for a class party then pick up at noon.  A FULL DAY of school!  I know I should be sad, but I am dancing around the house singing Sponge Bob's song, "This is the Best Day Ever!!!"  I will probably cry later.  Oh, and I will also feel bad for leaving tire marks in the parking lot.

Navy and White

I absolutely LOVE navy and white.  I painted my family room a deep navy and am secretly wishing my kids were old enough so I could have a white sofa too!  I also love the pop of bright green plants with it too!!  These are mood shots I am using for my girlfriend's family room.  I can't wait to see it all come together....

Rain Rain....don't go away!

60% chance of rain today so I ran and grabbed my new wellies....now it's sunny outside.  I am wearing them around the house anyway.  They are so comfy...love them Jenn!!!

Milk & Cookies

I am totally making these for my next dessert bar.  (I'm not opposed to getting ready baked cookies either) Need to find a bright orange tray to display!!  Have a great weekend!

Cherry Blossom Bridal Shower

I absolutely LOVE cherry blossoms so how excited was I that I received an invitation to my friend's Asian themed bridal shower!?!  The invites came in an adorable box with a custom printed fortune cookie. The shower was in Rhode Island and I wasn't able to attend so I baked all weekend and made bridal gown and diamond ring cookies to ship!!  I packaged them in individual boxes with "Lucky In Love" stickers. Her friends gave away lucky bamboo for the favors.  Agghh...so cute! I see a cherry blossom party in my future..Chinese New Year maybe!?!?

First Day of School

What teacher wouldn't love a little "happy" on their first day of school. I found magnets, paper clips, push pins and matching pencils from a craft store and office supply store.  If you run out of items, just fill with matching candy! It includes everything a teacher needs to start the year off right (except maybe some Advil and a frozen margarita)  This one is for my girlfriend, Amiee, who is still one of our favorite teachers.  Have a great year!
